The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.

At Garden Co., we believe in God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, Creator of heaven and earth, holy, eternal, sovereign, and all-powerful. He is not distant, but deeply personal, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, while remaining just and righteous. From the beginning, the Father has been pursuing a people for Himself, calling Abraham, delivering Israel, forming covenant, giving the Law, speaking through the prophets, and promising redemption through the Messiah. At the center of it all is this: He is Father. Jesus came to reveal Him and restore us to Him. Through faith in Jesus, we are no longer distant; we are adopted as sons and daughters, brought into His family, and made heirs with Christ.

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

At Garden Co., we believe the Holy Spirit is not a force, but a Person, the third member of the Trinity, fully God, equal in power and glory with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is active today, drawing people to Jesus, regenerating hearts, and dwelling within every believer. He is God with us, forming us into the likeness of Christ, empowering us to live holy lives, and leading us in the way of Jesus. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience available to every believer, an empowering for witness, ministry, and spiritual boldness. We also believe the gifts of the Spirit are for today and are given to build up the Body of Christ and reveal the presence of Jesus among us. At Garden Co., we are a people formed by His presence and empowered by His Spirit, living lives that reflect His power, His purity, and His love.

Beginning with Abraham and Sarah, God began a long story of redemption. Israel is a family line leading to Jesus who fulfilled the promise of blessing all nations, by making a way for all people to be redeemed through his death and resurrection.

At Garden Co., when we talk about salvation, we’re not just talking about a moment; we’re talking about a life. Salvation is how the gospel meets us, transforms us, and restores us. As Eugene Peterson said, “Salvation is God’s way of dealing with what is wrong with the world and with us.” And throughout Scripture, we see this clearly: Salvation is something that has happened, is happening, and will happen.

Salvation (Past) — We have been saved. Salvation begins with what Jesus has already done. “By grace you have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8–9). This is the finished work of the cross. Not earned. Not achieved. Received. In Christ, sin is dealt with, shame is broken, and we are brought into the family of God. This is where discipleship starts, not with striving, but with surrender.

Salvation (Present) — We are being formed. But salvation doesn’t stop at the cross; it continues in us. “To us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). This is the ongoing work of the Spirit. Jesus didn’t just forgive us, He filled us. The Holy Spirit is forming us, shaping us, and leading us into the way of Jesus. This is discipleship. This is the Table. This is where we are slowly, faithfully becoming who we already are in Him.

Salvation (Future) — We will be made whole, and one day salvation will be complete. “The one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). There is a day coming when everything broken will be restored, and sin, death, and decay will no longer have a voice. Until then, we live with hope. “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16).

Salvation is not just about getting to heaven. It’s about becoming whole. We have been saved. We are being formed. We will be made new. This is the way of Jesus. This is the journey of discipleship. This is what it means to be planted in Him.

Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation.

At Garden Co., we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for humanity. By grace, through faith, we are made alive in Him, and invited to become a people who embody His presence, live His way, and participate in His Kingdom until He makes all things new. The Gospel is not just a message; it’s the story we’re living in and the reality we are being formed by.

What Is the Gospel? The Gospel is the good news that God Himself has come to rescue us from sin, restore us to Himself, and renew all things through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This good news is initiated by grace, not earned, but given. It is substitutionary — Christ lived, died, and rose in our place. It is Christus Victor — Jesus has defeated sin, death, and the powers of darkness. It is participatory — we are invited into God’s redemptive work as His people. And it is the announcement of a Kingdom, not just transformed individuals, but a restored creation under the Lordship of Jesus. The Gospel is powerful; it brings us from death to life, fills us with the Spirit, and forms us into a people who embody His Kingdom now.

The Gospel is the unfolding story of Scripture: Creation — We were made for life with God, in wholeness and union. Fall — Sin fractured that design, bringing brokenness into every part of life. Redemption — Through Jesus, God fulfills His promise — beginning with Abraham — to bless all nations and reconcile us to Himself. Renewal — God is restoring all things, bringing heaven and earth back together as one.

At Garden Co., we believe the Church is not a place we go, but a people we become. The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus’ Great Commission to make disciples. Every person born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church, a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism: Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord’s Supper: A unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (representing the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross.

Marriage: We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God.

Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation.

At Garden Co., we believe eternity is real, and what we do with Jesus matters. Heaven is the dwelling place of God, prepared for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a place of fullness, joy, and restored relationship, where heaven and earth are made new, and God dwells with His people. This is not just escape, it is renewal. The completion of what God has been doing all along.

At Garden Co., we believe eternity is real, and what we do with Jesus matters. Hell is the reality of eternal separation from God for those who reject His grace. It is described in Scripture as a place of judgment, originally prepared for the enemy and his forces, marked by real consequence and loss.

Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.

At Garden Co., we believe every person is created in the image of God, formed with both physical and spiritual life, and given dignity, purpose, and responsibility from the beginning. This means every human life carries intrinsic value and worth. You are not an accident; you are made in His image. At the same time, Scripture is honest about our condition. Sin has fractured that image, distorting our desires and separating us from God. “None is righteous… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:10, 23). Apart from God’s grace we are not just broken, we are spiritually lost, unable to restore ourselves. Sin affects every part of who we are — our hearts, our relationships, and our world, ultimately leading to death and separation from God.
